Highway 65 - Pre-premiere screening of the film at a special event of the Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization

The Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization, led by Sigalit Ben Hayoun, held a special per-premiere screening of the Israeli film “Highway 65”, nominated for 9 Ophir Awards at the 2024 Ophir Awards Ceremony, including best film, starring Tali Sharon, Idan Amedi and the singer Dikla.

In addition to the screening, a discussion was held in which the filmmakers participated: Maya Dreifuss, the film’s Director, and Dr. Noa Regev, CEO of the Israel Film Fund, both alumnae of the Tisch School of Film and Television at the Faculty of Arts in Tel Aviv University. Film director Maya Dreifuss noted that the film got into production during the Corona period, and following the outbreak of war, the story in the movie took on a double meaning, in light of the complex Israeli reality.

Many alumni have attended the event, such as Dori Manor, the David Lubinski Group Chairman, Maya Dreifuss, Film Writer and Director, Dr. Noa Regev, CEO of the Israel Film Fund, Gad Proper, Chairman of the Israel-European Union Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Eyal Greenbaum, CEO of Phoenix Hitum  , the Entrepreneur and Angel Investor Yair Amit and many more.
